Illegal Alien Workers Arrested While Working A Secured Area At The Butler County Sheriff's Office
For Immediate Release
March 28, 2025
ILLEGAL ALIEN WORKERS ARRESTED WHILE WORKING A SECURED AREA AT THE BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Sheriff Richard K. Jones announced today, the Butler County Sheriff’s Office is currently undertaking a construction project inside the secure area of the main correctional complex located at 705 Hanover Street Hamilton, Ohio. The construction company had contracted out some of the work, and the sub-contractor provided identifying information on the individuals that were working inside the facility.
On March 26, 2025 at approximately 11:30 am, while reviewing these credentials, it was discovered that some of them appeared fraudulent. Due to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office recent partnership with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), an ICE agent was present at the main jail.
Upon further review of the documents, it was determined the two workers were in-fact illegal aliens. An ICE agent conducted the interviews with the two individuals who admitted they were in the United States illegally.
“You just can’t make this stuff up. I’ve been very verbal with my stance on illegal immigration and two illegal aliens come to the Butler County Jail to work. I do believe I’ve now seen it all,” states Sheriff Jones.
