Illegal Immigrant Indicted For Sexual Assault Charges Involving Juveniles

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT INDICTED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT CHARGES INVOLVING JUVENILES

Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports Isauro Garcia-Cruz, 44-year-old illegal immigrant from

Mexico, was indicted by a Butler County Grand Jury for multiple sexual assault charges

involving two different victims. Garcia-Cruz was indicted today on two(2) counts of Rape,

first degree felonies, eight(8) counts of Sexual Battery, third degree felonies, six(6) counts

of Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor, third degree felonies, one(1) count of Gross Sexual

Imposition, fourth degree felony and one(1) count of Disseminating Matter Harmful To

Juveniles, first degree misdemeanor.

On March 4, 2024 Garcia-Cruz was located in Bedford County, Virginia by Butler County

detectives, along with help from Bedford County officers, with one of the victims and later

extradited back to Butler County. Garcia-Cruz is currently in the Butler County Jail awaiting

his court date.
