Narcotics Search Warrants Executed in Butler and Hamilton Counties — Suspect in Custody, Large Quantities of Fentanyl and Cocaine Seized

Sheriff Richard K. Jones reports that the Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics (B.U.R.N.) Task Force executed two search warrants early this morning as the culmination of a three-month narcotics trafficking investigation.

At approximately 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2025, the first search warrant was served at the suspects primary residence located at 5276 Camelot Drive in Fairfield. A second search warrant was simultaneously executed at a residence the suspect was affiliated with located at 2366 Hidden Meadows Drive in Springdale, with support from Hamilton County’s Drug Abuse Reduction Taskforce (D.A.R.T.).

As a result of these coordinated operations, investigators arrested Errol Baker, age 42. The following items were seized from the two locations:

• Approximately 120 grams of fentanyl (potentially lethal to as many as 60,000 people)

• Over 90 grams of cocaine

• $5,400 in U.S. currency

• A 2017 Mercedes-Benz vehicle

• A Slingshot Motorcycle

Baker has been charged with:

• 2 Counts/Possession of Drugs (F1)

He was transported and booked into the Butler County Jail, where he remains in custody.

“This case represents the continued dedication of the B.U.R.N. Task Force to identifying and removing high-level drug traffickers from our communities,” stated Sheriff Jones. “Fentanyl is a deadly poison, and those who profit from its distribution will be held accountable.”
