Road Patrol

 

Road Patrol deputies are responsible to cover all unincorporated areas within the 469 square miles of Butler County, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Routinely, there are also calls for service within the cities of the county as well. The Sheriff’s Office works hand in hand with all municipal police organizations and plays a vital role in the safety and security of our county’s citizens.

Road Patrol and Contracts

Deputies assigned to the Road Patrol unit, within the Headquarters Division, patrol unincorporated areas not otherwise covered by contract. Liberty Township contracts with the Sheriff’s Office for patrol services, and those deputies are part of the Liberty Township Patrol Division.
